Chester Millar

Chairman

Mr. Millar is considered a pioneer of heap leach gold production and large-scale bulk mining methods and techniques used for mining low-grade gold deposits worldwide. Considered one of the mining industry's most successful company builders, Mr. Millar was inducted to the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2008, with a career that includes being a founder and former Chairman of such notable large and successful gold companies as Glamis Gold Ltd., Eldorado Gold Corporation and Alamos Gold Inc. Under his strategic direction, these companies were able to grow from junior exploration and early production companies to world class gold producers. Mr. Millar's illustrious career in the mining industry commenced in the 1960's when he discovered and developed the highly successful Afton Mines Ltd. open-pit copper-gold mine near Kamloops, Canada. Afton Mines Ltd. was ultimately acquired by Teck Cominco Ltd. (now Teck Resources Limited). Mr. Millar was also Chairman of Castle Gold Corporation (acquired by Argonaut Gold Inc.) from August 2004 to September 2008, and Chairman of Pediment Gold Corp. (acquired by Argonaut Gold Inc.) from April 2008 to January 2011. Mr. Millar is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a degree in geological engineering.
 

Dr. Hans von Michaelis, Ph.D

Chief Executive Officer, President & Director

Dr. von Michaelis holds a Ph.D in Geochemistry from the University of Cape Town. Dr. von Michaelis was appointed as the Company's Lead Director on March 26, 2012. He spent two decades conducting multi-client surveys of innovations in extractive metallurgy of gold, silver and uranium. He has organized numerous international conferences on gold and silver extraction and recovery on global and Mexican mining opportunities. Dr. von Michaelis is a former director of Glamis Gold Ltd. and several other junior resource companies. He is currently President of Randol International Ltd., a company he founded in 1977 to provide business development services, mostly to the mining industry. Dr. von Michaelis also serves on the advisory board of Strathmore Minerals Corp. He has been successful in advancing HPGR technology acceptance by the mineral processing industry. Among other business development achievements was his introduction of the Mulatos gold project to Alamos Minerals Ltd. He is the author of numerous technical and mineral economic publications and has presented at numerous international conferences.
 

Lenard F. Boggio, FCA, CPA

Director

Mr. Boggio has an extensive accounting, financial, auditing and governance background focused on mining, energy and financial services sectors. He was most recently a partner for 24 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") and the senior member of the firm's mining industry group in Vancouver, Canada. He has been a Director of Blue Gold Mining Inc. since September, 2011. Mr. Boggio has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario. He has been a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC) since 1985. Mr. Boggio also earned his CPA designation in 1999. Mr. Boggio was elected a Fellow of the ICABC in 2007 for outstanding service to the community and his profession, and in 2011 was elected as President of the ICABC. From 1991 to 1996, he was a member and Chair of the ICABC Technical Forum, which meets regularly to discuss issues of policy and disclosure with senior members of the British Columbia Securities Commission and TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Boggio is also a past member of the Ontario Securities Commission Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee from 2006 to 2009 and is a regular lecturer for the Institute of Corporate Directors - Directors Education Program.
 

Keith Piggott, ACSM

Director

Mr. Piggott initially made his name by developing innovative mining systems in the copper & cobalt mines of Zambia at Luanshya, and at Chibuluma, Chambishi and Kalengwa as Mine Superintendent. He then operated an exploration company in Australia and Papua New Guinea, identifying the gold cap of the Ok Tedi copper ore body, which was then dealt to BHP, which recovered two million ounces of gold in the first three years of production. Over the past 30 years, he has started and produced (mostly through companies that he has controlled) numerous gold/silver, tin, tungsten, rutile/zircon open pit and heap leach mines in Australia and Mexico utilizing innovative technology to maximize profits. He sold his Australian operations in 1987 to concentrate on developing metallurgical technologies, one of which is a patented dry processing for heavy minerals, which is used today in Australia and Mexico. For the last twelve years, he has focused on gold production in Mexico and on exploration opportunities for near-term gold/silver production in Mexico and Latin America. He has launched two Mexican gold mines which have each been in continuous production for twelve and five years, respectively. Mr. Piggott graduated in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines in the UK and from the Executive Development Program at the London Business School.
 

Gregg J. Sedun, LLB

Director

Mr. Sedun is an independent venture capital professional based in Vancouver, Canada with 27 years of mining & industry-related finance experience. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB), he practiced corporate finance/securities & mining law in Vancouver until retiring from law in 1997. Thereafter, he founded two private venture capital firms, including Global Vision Capital Corp., where he continues to carry on venture capital investing as President & CEO.

Mr. Sedun has been involved as a director and/or founding shareholder in a number of successful companies including Diamond Fields Resources Inc. (Founding Director) which was acquired by Inco in 1996 for $4.3 billion in the largest takeover of a junior mining company in Canadian history; Adastra Minerals Inc. (Founding Director) which was acquired by First Quantum Minerals in 2006 for $275 million; and Peru Copper Inc. (Founding Shareholder), which was acquired by Chinalco in 2007 in an all-cash $840 million takeover. Mr. Sedun is also currently Chairman & CEO of Uracan Resources (TSX.V:URC), President and Director of Oceanic Iron Ore Corp. (TSX.V:FEO), former President & CEO of Diamond Fields International Ltd. (TSX:DFI) and former President & CEO of Luna Gold Corp. (TSX.V:LGC).
 

Corry Silbernagel, P.Eng, MBA

Director

Mr. Silbernagel is a Vancouver-based specialist in finance.  Mr. Silbernagel was most recently CFO of Cabo Drilling Corp., one of Canada's largest exploration drilling services companies. Prior to Cabo, Mr. Silbernagel was a management and financial consultant working as a corporate advisor in strategy, finance, business development and marketing.  As a professional engineer, Mr. Silbernagel has managed large-scale projects in excess of $100 million in the mining and oil and gas industry for companies such as Suncor Energy and TransAlta Energy.  Mr. Silbernagel holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainbleau, France and a Bachelors degree in Applied Science  in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
 

Francisco Escandon, Geol. Eng. MMSA

Director

Mr. Escandon is a graduate geological engineer from the National University of Mexico, with more than 40 years of experience in exploration and mining. Mr. Escandon's varied experience includes exploration and evaluation of mineral properties, mine design, metallurgical research, feasibility studies and environmental studies. Mr. Escandon was the Director of the Consejo de Recursos Minerales, Mexico's National Bureau of Minerals Resources and the Mexican Geological Survey for six years. He is a qualified professional as defined by Canadian NI 43-101 regulations.
